2026 Holiday Horse Sessions
It's that time of year again! Introducing our 2026 Holiday Horse sessions.
THE DETAILS
All Holiday Horse sessions include the use of one of our themed garlands. Garlands are approximately 6' long, and work for most breeds. I have extenders or a few shorter length options if needed for a large or small breed. You are also welcome to use your own!
Each session includes fine art style, released digital images for your print and digital use. Images are delivered via an online gallery link, where you can download and share online, order prints for your home, or use for this year's Christmas cards.
Unless you specify an outdoor session, the usual editing style is to completely replace the background of each image digitally, allowing maximum flexibility while both taking the images and creating something completely custom in post production. Sessions can take place in the barn isle, arena, paddock, or even your driveway; plus, I have a mobile lighting setup which allows day or night sessions!
BASE COST
- $275 per horse includes four fine art style, released digital images
- Can be horse only or include one person
- Generally expect three headshots and one full body portrait; but open to requests!
- Travel within Snohomish and King County is included; travel beyond is split amongst same-day sessions
ADD ONS
- Additional images (+$25 each)
- Two or more people, and/or pets; includes on additional image (+$50)
- Digitally add garland (+$20 each image)
DISCOUNTS
- Groups of 4+ horses on the same day each receive a $25 discount
- Groups of 8+ horses on the same day each receive a $50 discount
- Owners of 2+ horses each receive a $50 discount, and includes a bonus composite image of your horse's together (cannot be combined with group discounts)
FAQ
How long do I have to book?
For 2026, these sessions are only offered on specific dates. Once they are booked, they are sold out for the year!
How long will it take to get my digital images back?
For 2026, sessions will be edited and delivered within 2 weeks.
What if we can't get the garland on my horse?
Historically, I usually only have 1 or 2 horses per year that refuse to wear them. They attach via carabiner clip over their withers, and I take my time with the process - surprisingly, most don't care! While I am able to add the garland to your horse post-production, there will be a $20 fee per image to add the garland digitally. I highly recommend you that you work/lunge your horse the day of your session to take the edge off and help assure success.
